Fettuccine Rustica

So we all know I like pasta. Very obvious. So here's another version. Woohoo!

This is a very easy recipe. I like easy. Do you like easy? I'm sure. Everyone likes easy. A few simple ingredients, and voila, great pasta dish. I called it Fettuccine Rustica because it reminds me of a pasta dish I had at a restaurant once with a similar name. It's a rustic, tossed together recipe. Hope you like it. :)

Ingredients:
-3 tablespoons olive oil
-1 cup sliced vine-ripened tomatoes
-1 tablespoon garlic powder
-1 teaspoon onion powder
-1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-1/4 cup shredded parmesan
-1 tablespoon flour
-1 cup water
-chicken breast, cut into bot size pieces
-fettuccine

Directions:
In a large pot, boil water over high heat. Ad pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium/medium high heat. Cook the chicken for a few minutes.
It doesn't need to be cooked through. Add in the sliced tomatoes. Saute the tomatoes for a few minutes.
Add the flour, garlic and onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to incorporate.
Add the water and stir to combine. Add in the parmesan and let it melt into the sauce.
When the sauce has started to come together, add pasta and toss to coat.
Serve and garnish with a little more parmesan.
Enjoy! It's that easy! Yum.
