Baked Penne

This is one of my husband's favorite meals. Which is nice, because it's not very difficult to make. I also enjoy it, because it's pasta. You know how I feel about pasta. Hehe.

Anyway, this makes a good bit of pasta, so you could probably feed a decent size family with it. I always have lots of leftovers when I make this. It's awesome with some garlic bread, and if you want to go healthy-ish, make a salad to go with it. :) Yum.

Ingredients:
-Penne Pasta (a full lb)
-Tomato Pasta Sauce (I use a full jar)
-Mozzarella Cheese (about 3-4 cups, shredded)
-Parmesan Cheese (about 1 cup, shredded)

Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook penne until just al dente. Don't overcook it, because it will continue cooking slightly while baking. Drain it. Take a 2 quart baking dish, and pour a little bit of sauce into the bottom of it. Pour in about 1/2 the pasta. Put about a a cup of mozzarella and a 1/3 cup parmesan in a layer over the pasta. Pour about half the remaining sauce over that. Repeat the layering one more time with the rest of the pasta, a cup of mozzarella and 1/3 cup parmesan, and the rest of the sauce. As the top layer, add the remaining cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes, until everything is hot and melted and yummy. Enjoy!
